About Erivan Gecom

Under the name “Erivan”, the company was founded in 1981 by Pierre Lajeunesse and quickly flourished, working in the fields of civil engineering and production of large scale concrete construction projects.

The founder’s determination to offer clients an unparalleled level of service became the business’s trademark - with a passion for a job well done, Mr Lajeunesse required of those working with him and transmitted to his successors, his deeply-held values of integrity, loyalty, and performance. Indeed, his vision was such that, even towards the end of his career, he remained open to learning and exploring new areas of operation, thus allowing the enterprise to continue its steady growth – all the while keeping its spotless reputation, never compromising its basic values.

In 1995, Lajeunesse’s son graduated with a civil engineering degree, and becoming increasingly involved in operations at Erivan, wisely steered the company toward the field of telecommunications. The company’s cumulative expertise and its strong multi-disciplinary experience positioned it perfectly to meet the exacting standards of the telecommunications industry.

At the beginning of the years 2000, with a view to further thriving in an extremely competitive and constantly changing environment, Erivan management decided to bring two top-flight associates on board – Michel Aumais and Martin Hince. Aumais and Hince brought specialized knowledge and innovative insights to the company, further adding to its well-known expertise, maintaining the founding philosophy - yet within a renewed energy growing out of their diverse and complementary talents. In 2004, the company was officially named Groupe Erivan Geocom.

For over 30 years, Groupe Erivan Geocom has maintained an exemplary reputation that has become the envy of the telecommunications industry, and the construction industry in general.
